Watch Of The Week: Nomos Glashütte Minimatik

This week we are presenting the Nomos Glashütte Minimatik, an excitingly new, yet classic addition to the German brand’s stunning range of time pieces. The new model is one of two which will incorporate the new DUW 3001 movement which stands for NOMOS Glashütte Deutsche Uhrenwerke and pays tribute to the fact that all of of their movements are made in-house.

The new design is simple, refined and slightly feminine – and we love it. 35.5 millimetres measures the diameter of the watch and bold Ink Blue, Red and Gold colours all contribute to an elegant, yet youthful timepiece. Nomos describe the Minimatik as “wonderfully proportioned, and equally well-mannered—a youthful, elegant beauty, and an entirely new NOMOS watch.”

The new caliber has automatic winding and a power reserve of 42 hours. This movement is (of course) beautifully showcased in a beautiful sapphire crystal glass back with tempered blue screws, rhodium-plated surfaces and Nomos perlage. The watch is attached to a simple Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan black leather band which perfectly compliments its subtle design.
